About: Omang's rich experience working for youth issues through his association with Scouts, Rotary, TheirWorld, Youth for Peace International, Commonwealth and the UN made him realize the significance of youth participation in advocacy. He was awarded with the Queen’s Young Leader Award in 2017 by Queen Elizabeth II. Through the 'Youth Accountability Advocates program, Omang is currently working with college students in Delhi on tracking progress towards the commitment of ‘Enabling young people to access sexual and reproductive health information and services’. He hopes to engage youth organizations, governments, political parties to meaningfully engage youth across local, national, regional and global levels.
